Google Local Services Ads Management

Target the Work
You Want to Book.

A paid inquiry can still be the wrong job. We connect service targeting, practical service areas, lead quality review, and your team’s response capacity before recommending where to spend more.

Google Local Services Ads Management

Choose What Makes a Lead Worth Pursuing.

Local Service Ads connect eligible businesses with people searching for services on Google. You pay for valid contacts, not a promise that every inquiry will suit your team or become a job.

That is where a useful management plan begins: the services you provide, the places you can reach, the hours you can respond, and the work that makes business sense.

We bring over 20 years of experience in marketing, websites, and customer acquisition to these decisions. The starting conversation can address an existing LSA account or the requirements for a new one.

Choose the Work Before You Chase More Leads

Put Your Services, Territory, and Capacity on the Same Page.

Start with the work the team can serve well. We would compare business priorities with available campaign controls and incoming inquiry patterns before recommending changes.

Google can match searches using location intent as well as estimated location. Exact location exclusion is not guaranteed. Menus and available settings vary by account. Read Google guidance on reaching customers.

After the Inquiry Arrives

Charged, Relevant, and Booked Are Different Answers.

A review should explain why the lead did or did not move forward. It should not treat every disappointing outcome as a billing error.

01

What Does the Account Show?

Read the actual charge, review, or credit status. Google makes the billing decision.

02

Does the Work Fit the Business?

Check the requested service, practical territory, and availability. A billable contact can still be a poor business fit.

03

What Happened After Contact?

Confirm whether the team connected, qualified the work, and agreed on a next step. A booking needs business feedback.

The Decision in This Example

A One Time Conflict or a Recurring Gap?

Establish whether availability is an occasional conflict or a recurring problem. Then consider staffing, appointment availability, follow up, or appropriate scheduling changes. An ad schedule is not a live appointment calendar.

What if the inquiry is for the wrong job or area?

Review the request and the campaign settings. Do not assume that a business mismatch means an invalid charge. Google currently does not support credits for job types not serviced or geography not serviced. Credit availability also varies by category and location.

A Review That Leads to Decisions

Start With the Symptom. Find the Next Useful Check.

These are the questions we would work through with you. Available information, account access, and the agreed scope determine the depth of a review.

I Am Not Getting Enough Inquiries

What We Would Check

Start with eligibility and verification notices, payment status, the ad schedule, available budget and bidding controls, and the completeness of the profile. Review service relevance, images, and customer review information as well.

The Decision to Make

Decide which constraint to address or which supported setting to test. No checklist can guarantee a position or a lead volume.

Inquiries Arrive for Work We Do Not Want

What We Would Check

Compare requested services and actual lead locations with the available category, job type, and location settings. Consider broad search context and the work the business genuinely serves. LSA does not provide a conventional advertiser keyword list.

The Decision to Make

Refine supported settings where evidence supports it. Keep useful reach rather than excluding work simply because it differs from the preferred job mix.

Calls Arrive, but Bookings Do Not Follow

What We Would Check

Review who answers, call routing, follow up, service fit, appointment capacity, and the outcomes the team records. Google’s current guidance says certain missed calls during business hours can still be billable.

The Decision to Make

Improve the customer handoff or availability where needed. Compare booked work with completed work and payment before judging business value.

Campaign Work to Agree

Eligibility and setup preparation, profile details and reviews, service and territory settings, budget oversight, inquiry quality, and useful reporting can form the agreed management scope.

Confirm the deliverables, review frequency, Google ad budget, and management fee before work begins.

What Your Team Brings

Account access, accurate business information, priority services, practical coverage, and a reliable response process. Your team handles customer conversations and records bookings and later outcomes.

Use named access rather than shared passwords. Campaign permissions and payments access are separate.

The Booking Matters as Much as the Lead.

Ad cost per booked job · Index10050Baseline2× Bookings

Same spend. Twice the bookings. Half the ad cost per booked job.

A Lower Lead Price Does Not Tell the Whole Story.

Review which inquiries fit the business and which become booked work before deciding where to put the next dollar.

Arithmetic models, not client results or forecasts. Ad cost excludes management fees and other business costs. With no recorded bookings, ad cost per booked job is undefined. These charts do not measure profit.

Are We Attracting the Right Jobs?

Review service type, location, and customer intent.

Which Jobs Were Booked, Completed, and Paid?

Record each outcome separately. A booked appointment is not completed work or collected revenue.

What Did Acquisition Really Cost?

Consider ad spend, the agreed management fee, other acquisition costs, collected job value, and direct delivery costs.

Revenue Surge’s work spans websites, search visibility, lead generation, and direct response. Our standard is the new business the work helps support, not activity alone.

This client feedback describes broader lead generation work. It is not presented as an LSA campaign result or a forecast for your business.

Local Service Ads Questions

Know the Costs, Responsibilities, and Limits.

Practical answers before starting a campaign or changing the account you already have.

How Are Local Service Ads Different From Search Ads?
Local Service Ads use your services, locations, and business details to match eligible searches, rather than a keyword list. Customers can contact you directly from the ad through available call, message, or booking options. Traditional search campaigns commonly use keywords and charge for clicks. Our PPC management services can support a wider paid search strategy when it fits your goals.
Does My Business Qualify for Google Verified?
Eligibility depends on your business category and location. Required checks can include business registration, licensing, insurance, background checks, and a verified Google Business Profile. Google Verified signals that the applicable screening requirements have been met; availability varies by category. We can review your starting point and the requirements before recommending the next step. Google controls screening and approval decisions.
What Will Local Service Ads Management Cost?
There are two parts to discuss: Google advertising spend and the agreed Revenue Surge management scope and fee. Lead prices vary with the service, market, and campaign conditions. Before committing, clarify the account work, reporting, any setup work, and additional services included in the proposal. A paid lead does not guarantee a booked job, so cost and lead quality belong together.
What Happens If the Leads Are Not the Right Fit?
Review the requested work, location, response, and available charge status. A lead that does not book is not automatically invalid or refundable. Google currently does not support credits for job types not serviced or geography not serviced. Credit availability also varies by category and location. Read Google’s automated lead credit guidance before assuming a poor fit should receive a refund.
Can I Be Charged for a Missed Call?
Yes. Google currently treats certain missed calls during your business hours as valid leads when the caller stays on the line for more than 20 seconds. An active ad schedule and phone routing can affect how the rule applies. Review Google’s current call billing rules for the details. Planning who answers and how follow up happens matters before increasing spend.
Who Answers the Leads and Books the Work?
Your business handles customer calls and messages, confirms the service and location, discusses availability, and agrees on the booking. Our proposed campaign work can include reviewing how inquiries reach your team and where the handoff stalls. If you use a separate answering or scheduling provider, define its role alongside the campaign scope. Recording outcomes helps connect campaign decisions with the work you actually win.
Can You Work With My Existing Account?
We can start by reviewing the account, screening status, available history, and existing access arrangements. Google supports named user invitations and permission levels; use those rather than sharing a password. Administrative access and payments permissions require separate consideration. Review Google’s account access guidance and agree on permissions for the proposed work before account changes begin. An existing account does not automatically need replacing.
Can You Guarantee the Top Position or a Set Number of Leads?
No. Ad order and lead availability depend on factors including the auction, search context, service relevance, profile quality, and responsiveness. Completing verification does not guarantee the first position. We can work on the campaign details within the agreed scope and use available evidence to guide refinements. No placement, lead volume, booking count, or revenue outcome should be treated as guaranteed.
How Long Does Setup and Approval Take?
Timing depends on your category, location, account readiness, required documents, and screening steps. An existing campaign may need different work from a new account. Google controls its checks and approval decisions, so a fixed launch date should not be promised before reviewing the starting point. We can discuss the remaining steps, what your team needs to provide, and the proposed scope.
How Will We Know Whether the Campaign Is Working?
Review lead quality and advertising costs alongside the outcomes your team records: contact made, job fit, booking, completed work, and payment where available. Booked work and collected revenue are different measures. Total acquisition cost can include advertising, management fees, and other relevant costs. Agree on definitions and available information so reporting supports useful decisions without implying complete attribution or treating revenue as profit.
Do I Need a New Website to Run Local Service Ads?
An LSA lead can arrive directly from the ad without a website visit. A new website is not automatically part of LSA management. Your wider online presence can still influence customer confidence. We can discuss whether website design or local SEO would address a separate need and whether that work belongs in an additional scope. Eligibility and account requirements still apply.
What Happens When My LSA Account Moves Into Google Ads?
Google is moving eligible accounts into Performance Max campaigns with pay per lead goals in phases. Available settings and reporting can change, and historical LSA reports do not automatically transfer into Google Ads. Review Google’s transition guidance and your account’s current status. The starting review can identify history to preserve and setup changes to discuss within the agreed scope.
